<span style="color: #666666;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I sewed the sides of the bag together and attached the flap in the same rows of stitching, then made the buttonhole and sewed on the button using a decorative technique.</span></span></span><br />

This step is quite exciting as you can see the blanket coming together as you go.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhTTild_ALydH1FmCmuZOq6K9sCbIF5FRiBzH2okmnqoFr2bmlbhPyEjzLE4KVFdVEk2okAj8HX8I4ffYChFIgS2p2L-wSpFf6_EvXkVi4nT8m4L-WXp0ZrckgQ8m-VCHmixfPkVCKZi0/s1600-h/DSC02771.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhTTild_ALydH1FmCmuZOq6K9sCbIF5FRiBzH2okmnqoFr2bmlbhPyEjzLE4KVFdVEk2okAj8HX8I4ffYChFIgS2p2L-wSpFf6_EvXkVi4nT8m4L-WXp0ZrckgQ8m-VCHmixfPkVCKZi0/s200/DSC02771.JPG" width="150" /></a></div><div style="color: #999999; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="color: #999999; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">The last step is to add a binding around the edge of the whole blanket. I didn't have time to complete this step today, which was okay because I don't have any material to use for binding. I actually considering kniting a strip to sew on as binding, and then maybe adding a backing to the whole blanket of t-shirt jersey. Beautiful handwriting is such an asset and one which I try to develop, especially now that handwritten notes and cards are becoming more rare. This was during a special event and the sommelier used the map to explain where all the different wines came from. So fantastic!ellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02381708300079401750noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985290306325170411.post-81129246672168048432010-03-01T22:19:00.003+11:002010-03-02T20:38:54.095+11:00not happy<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBlZfHDELsg6Cw3wrJy2RyCG40mTiPYivPA_wu08P_BYnJiTTkE5GyEnizrC8CCId0cjiaPLHlaSvgBxyGHTRH6tiQHrqYQUubOb4KtunJda6R_K-BIKjN0TRrVLO9Kc_feX9LvdKKfDU/s1600-h/Photo0093-pola+%282%29.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBlZfHDELsg6Cw3wrJy2RyCG40mTiPYivPA_wu08P_BYnJiTTkE5GyEnizrC8CCId0cjiaPLHlaSvgBxyGHTRH6tiQHrqYQUubOb4KtunJda6R_K-BIKjN0TRrVLO9Kc_feX9LvdKKfDU/s400/Photo0093-pola+%282%29.jpg" width="328" /></a></div><a name='more'></a>This sign is outside the best kebab place in Sydney. Yum. I think this sign is hilarious because the woman looks so indignant and the man looks so sleazy. I always imagine her something like "You don't think you're going to get anywhere with the twenty seven dollar special, do you?" haha.<br />
It really shows how a few lines in an illustration can make the world of difference to the expression of the faces and bodies.ellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02381708300079401750noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985290306325170411.post-33407104023184959452010-03-01T09:46:00.001+11:002010-03-02T20:38:30.297+11:00beg and moan<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQwUnpGmrpyEpmIwGHMDH3iOK2HnBALY9DtRXfqjCMPhzs03tqF0xgKyHFQO3loOdbhkjhAjf0qyhRhmj5wQvn95KL9zqbrU1foYu1mw7EdW8oBGQo1_CSnHqeN4i2pXZ982v1y84aT0w/s1600-h/Photo0018-pola.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQwUnpGmrpyEpmIwGHMDH3iOK2HnBALY9DtRXfqjCMPhzs03tqF0xgKyHFQO3loOdbhkjhAjf0qyhRhmj5wQvn95KL9zqbrU1foYu1mw7EdW8oBGQo1_CSnHqeN4i2pXZ982v1y84aT0w/s400/Photo0018-pola.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">I have recently been converted to Scrabble. <div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Today is the annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney and my local cafe was serving takeaway coffee in these rainbow cups to celebrate. It made the neighbourhood look bright and put a sense of celebration in the air. </div>ellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02381708300079401750noreply@blogger.com0
